QUIET AUTHORITY
A 12-week Deepening in Self-Trust, Self-Understanding & Quiet Confidence, held one-to-one
From Self-Abandonment to
Authorship
A reflective experience for sensitive women who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, become more fully themselves, and begin making choices from a place that feels like their own.
You don't need to become less sensitive.
You don't need to become harder or louder.
You don't need to become someone else.
You may simply need more space to Grow into Yourself

A NOTE FROM ME

Sensitive women often become very good at understanding everyone else.
We notice.
We anticipate.
We make room.
We think things through.
And somewhere along the way, we can lose touch with what is happening inside us — including the parts of ourselves that are asking to be known, trusted and developed.
Quiet Authority, begins with a simple question:
What changes when you learn to include yourself in the care you so naturally give to others?
Over twelve weeks, I sit besides you through a structured but deeply personal process of getting to know yourself, staying with yourself, and bringing more of yourself into the life you're living.
WHAT IF YOU COULD CHOOSE WITHOUT LEAVING YOURSELF BEHIND?
Perhaps you say yes when you mean no.
You understand everyone's perspective so well that you can't find your own.
You make the sensible choice, but something in you feels quietly absent.
You overthink decisions because you're afraid of getting them wrong.
You hold back your opinions, needs, ambition, or desires.
You take responsibility for things that were never entirely yours to carry.
Or perhaps you simply have the feeling that there is more of you waiting to be lived.
More of your voice
More of your knowing
More of your creativity, sensitivity, intuition or particular way of seeing
QUIET AUTHORITY
Quiet Authority, isn't about becoming selfish, detached, or impulsive.
It is about learning how to remain connected to yourself while being in relationship with everything around you
And allowing more of what is already within you to have a place in your life.
A NOTE ON AUTHORSHIP
AUTHORSHIP
Authorship isn't about controlling your life.
It isn't about always knowing what to do, never doubting yourself, or putting yourself first at everyone else's expense.
It is the quieter experience of knowing:
I have a place in my own life
My thoughts matter
My needs matter
My perspectives matter
My gifts matter
My boundaries matter
My future matters
My desires matter
My way of knowing matters
I can disappoint someone & remain a good person.
I can listen to others without handing them the final say.
I can love someone and still choose.
I can change my mind.
I can want more.
I can develop the parts of myself that want more room.
THE SHIFT
The shift is from
living in response to life
to participating in creating it
HOW WE'LL WORK TOGETHER
THIS IS A
REFLECTIVE EXPERIENCE
Quiet Authority isn't a course you move through alone.
& it isn't open-ended mentoring where we simply talk about whatever happens to be happening.
It Sits Somewhere in Between
There is a shape and progression to our time together
But the work is personal
I stay with you through the process, while what we explore is shaped by,
YOU
your relationships, decisions, work, money, boundaries, desires, patterns, questions, and the things you are becoming aware of along the way.
Think of it as a thoughtful space
to grow into yourself
THE AUTHORING
There is no one version of you that you are meant to become.
This is an Invitation towards:
knowing yourself more deeply
staying with yourself more steadily
&
allowing more of who you are to have a place in the life you are creating.
THE TWELVE:
Along the way, we meet twelve different parts of this becoming.
Twelve roles that offer us a way to look at your inner world with
greater clarity, compassion and curiosity.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change.
We begin where you are.

12
FROM SELF-ABANDONMENT
TO AUTHORSHIP
Quiet Authority, isn't about becoming someone entirely new.
It is about becoming more available to the person who is already here.
Learning to notice yourself.
Learning to hear yourself.
Understanding the versions of you you've learned to become.
Staying with yourself when things feel complicated.
Learning what is yours and what isn't.
Trusting what you know.
Letting yourself be seen.
And, eventually, beginning to make a life that feels more and more like your own.
There is no perfect ending point.
You keep becoming.
And you keep returning to yourself.
A COMPANION TO THE JOURNEY
BEGIN AUTHORING YOUR LIFE
12 roles to Meet on the way from self-abandonment to Authorship.

If you'd like to spend a little more time with the ideas behind this work before deciding whether private mentoring is right for you, you can begin here.
This companion ebook walks through the twelve roles at the heart of the journey — a quiet place to reflect, notice yourself differently, and consider what it might mean to make life your own.
THINGS WE MIGHT SIT WITH
Because there is no perfect beginning, or end…
the weird thing that makes you unique & special...
perhaps the kind of day that leaves you feeling tired...
maybe a dream that keeps you awake at night...
could be an idea you want to share...
probably about the love that couldn't stay...
probably the love that stayed but frightens you deeply...
a hobby that touches your soul...
a schedule that leaves you feeling all over the place...
that painful conversation months ago, even years ago, that still hurts today...
a decision that feels burdensome...
maybe your role in the life of the one you call your best friend...
maybe a piece of art that made you wander and wonder...
perhaps a series of books from your childhood that still fills you with joy...
the conversation you've been dreading to have...
perhaps the dream client you've been hoping to sign up & work with...
You can bring almost anything with you when you enter The Nook.
And while we're there,
I'm here to simply
reflect with you, talk with you, understand with you, listen with you, smile with you, stay with you, dream with you, cherish with you.
Not a therapist, educator, guide, mentor or friend — just another sensitive, deeply feeling woman navigating a loud, chaotic, overwhelming world.
If I were to call myself anything here, I think it would probably be:
The Besider
I will listen to you, offer a different perspective, answer your questions, reassure you, provide information and knowledge when necessary
&
help re-align what otherwise feels scattered across your life and your journey...
MY APPROACH
Beside You: Reflective Writing
My approach is rooted in: Reflective Writing
Reflective writing is simply a way of thinking through your experience on the page.
It might involve writing about something that happened and noticing what it brought up for you.
Following a thought to see where it leads.
Putting a feeling into words.
Looking more closely at a pattern, a decision, a relationship, a belief or a story you've been carrying.
Sometimes it is about asking yourself a question and staying with the answer long enough to discover what else is there.
There is no right way to write. You don't need to be a “writer”, and nothing needs to sound beautiful or polished. The writing is simply a place to put your thoughts so we can look at them together.
We write, read, reflect & converse
This isn't CBT or REBT
It isn't meditation.
Or a set of nervous-system exercises.
We don't work by trying to regulate, reframe or fix you into feeling differently.
Instead, we stay with what is here.
Not to produce something beautiful.
Not to find the right answer.
Not to journal for the sake of journaling.
But to give your experience some words and a little space — so that you can see Yourself, and what is happening Within You, more clearly.
Reflective writing is at: the heart of how I work
AN INVITATION TO THE NOOK
There is a quiet place we return to each week.
The Nook
Leave the pace of everything else at the door
A gentle space for our conversations — away from the demands of everything else, where you can slow down enough to hear yourself.
Our conversations may happen in person or privately online, depending on what we arrange together.
(Postscript: you may want to have a notebook or a few pages nearby: perhaps something warm — or cold if you prefer — to drink, water is perfectly fine too.)
then...
once we're settled...
N
ot in a rush to get started. We ease in before we begin the conversation
Prologue:
We take a little time to settle in, leave the noise behind, perhaps linger over something from the week that wants to be spoken about — a book, an incident, something funny or even something gloomy — and gently find our way into the conversation.
Every beginning is different.
then...
S
lowly meeting one of The Twelve. We spend some time getting to know her...
In Conversation with One of the Twelve:
How she shows up in your life, the gifts she brings with her, and the places where she might make things a little more complicated.
We notice the ways she has shaped your life so far. You might remember an incident, a comment, a compliment — something from way back when, or something that happened only recently.
We spend time with her, getting to know her more deeply, and begin to see how you might want her to keep showing up in the life you are creating.
then...
T
he conversation may stir something within you — a question, a pattern, a feeling, an insight, a thought...
Something to Gently Stay With:
We take a little time to stay with whatever has come up.
Through reflective writing, we give it some words and a little space.
You may want to express your anger, disappointment, fear, joy, pain or grief — without worrying about doing it the right way. You are allowed to be tender with yourself.
Every conversation may ask to be held differently — and quietly.
and finally...
G
ently — sometimes quietly — we ponder the week ahead. Taking it slow before we wind up for the week...
Epilogue:
We might think about the ways the role stayed with you, how you might want her to show up, stay close, or even softly hold you through the days ahead.
If something from our conversation stirs again during the week, we may revisit something we wrote together we discovered together — something we already tried during the conversation — that might help you meet what comes up, soften, release, steady yourself, or simply find your way back to your center... Until we meet again.
Until we meet again...
A GLIMPSE OF WHAT MAY CHANGE
WHAT MAY BEGIN
TO FEEL DIFFERENT
Not because you become someone else
Because more of you has room to be here
YOU MAY BEGIN TO NOTICE MORE EASILY
hearing your own voice more clearly
noticing your intuition and inner signals sooner
noticing self-abandonment sooner
staying with difficult feelings without immediately acting on them
recognising the gifts that come naturally to you
trusting yourself without needing absolute certainty
YOU MAY BEGIN TO RELATE MORE CONFIDENTALY
caring about others without carrying everything for them
making room for needs and desires you've pushed aside
expressing yourself without editing quite so much
setting boundaries without becoming hard
YOU MAY BEGIN TO CHOOSE MORE FREELY
taking your work, money and ambitions more seriously
developing parts of yourself you've previously kept small
making decisions that feel more like yours
allowing yourself to be seen
And perhaps, eventually—
feeling more at home in the life you're creating.
PERHAPS YOU'LL RECOGNISE YOURSELF HERE
THIS MAY
BE FOR YOU IF…
You're sensitive, thoughtful and deeply aware of other people
You understand yourself intellectually,
but still find yourself disappearing
in certain situations.
You want to trust yourself
without becoming impulsive.
You want to understand your intuition without turning every feeling into a message.
You want boundaries
without becoming cold.
You want to care
without losing yourself in the caring.
You sense there are gifts, qualities or parts of yourself you haven't fully grown into yet.
You want to take your desires, work,
money or ambition seriously.
You want to be more visible without becoming someone you're not.
FROM
UNDERSTANDING
YOURSELF
TO LIVING
FROM THAT
UNDERSTANDING
THIS IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING...
Less sensitive
Less caring
More detached
Completely certain
Perfectly healed
Unaffected by other people
Someone who never doubts herself
Turning intuition into certainty, or every feeling into something you have to act on.
It is about becoming more able to remain with yourself while life happens
To have a voice
without needing to dominate
To be connected
without disappearing
To be soft
without abandoning yourself
To grow
without becoming someone else
